Am I correct in thinking I should have got an extra 1500pts?
I tried to use this voucher a few weeks ago when i spent £80 but i was told i had to spend the £75 on baby products & items to get the 1500 pointsI suppose with it being from the parenting club they were hoping people would buy their prams/high chairs and other expensive baby items at Boots with the bonus of the 1500 points. Anyway the till wouldnt accept it on my spend either and SA refused as baby items were only a small fraction of my spend

dianasnan wrote:the Reading Oracle Boots had a sign on friday saying that you could not use the £5 voucher on the £7.50 oriental style gift boxes. In my experience this store has always been a bit funny about money off vouchers but the one across the road takes them with no problem.
Boots in Woking is also funny about the vouers. They have a sign saying the £5 voucher does not work on reduced price cosmetics, but I have managed to redeem them with no problem at a different store. It's those crabby SAs at work again.0 -
Agreed....used the £5 voucher on a gift box set at the weekend and it went through with no problems. Its just the store manager / policy at work. Someone obviously tried with a SA at that store....the SAs and manager didn't like it, so up go the signs. Even though it works fine.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I've found a few glitches on .com on the baby care section.
Johnsons wipes have a free sample mascara, but are bogof so you get 2 free mascaras - limit of 2 free samples per customer, unfortunately
Instead of 200pts on a spend of '£20 or more' (on nappies, wipes & baby toiletries) its giving 200pts for EVERY £20 you spend
Pampers economy packs are 2 for £16,but the full amount (£17.96??) is being counted towards your 'total spend' to get the 200pts
I got 2700 pts on a nappies/wipes order of £75 :-
1000pts for orders over £75
800pts 4 x 200pts for 'spending' £20
900pts triple points (until tomorrow)0 -
The No7 SA in the Lincoln store said I couldn't use the voucher for the gift box. I told her my daughter had used it at another store, and asked if she would mind trying it. With much tutting and sighing she scanned it without looking, saying 'you see, madam?'. And there it was on her screen, £5 off the £7.50 box, so she had to take my £2.50 with gritted teeth.
I'm sure Boots recruit from actresses who failed the audition for Rosa Klebb in whatever Bond film it was. From Russia With Love?0 -
I have just managed to get 700 points on a 25.50 shop:
200 points for no7 skincare
300 points for £25 spend
200 points for no7 Stayperfect mascara.
I also managed to redeem my £5 voucher against the Geisha gift box.
I did put the masacara through in a separate transaction as I needed the voucher from the gift box. I thought I'd got a crabby SA who wouldn't let me use in with the 1/3 off voucher and £5 voucher, but she was actually really nice and said "you've got a bargain there love!"
Love Boots!!
Forgot to add...I had a scary moment after I'd patted myself on the back for getting so many points - I couldn't find my Advantage card with over £100 on it. Luckily it had dropped into my shopping bag.0 -
