Does anyone know which Boots stores, if any, in East/South East London sell toys? The ones in Walthamstow, Stratford and Leytonstone are so small that I doubt that they sell toys - I certainly haven't seen any in there. Can anyone answer the question for the stores in Ilford, Hackney, Lewisham and Beckton- or any I've missed in that area? I have to buy a birthday present for a child and do not have any actual cash (but I do have a Boots voucher and advantage points I can use! :D)

Many thanks for any info received.

Don't know about Lewisham and Hackney, but Ilford, Beckton Gallions Reach and Beckton Triangle (boots clearance) sell a small selection of them. Probably Lakeside has a better selection, although it's much further away. Good luck and HTH!

I don't think the size of the store has anything to do with them stocking toys or not. Our local store is tiny with no AC machines but it has a very good selection of toys. The store in the next town is quite big but doesn't stock toys at all.

BTW, Boots toy mobile phones have been recalled as there is a choking risk. My Mum had a letter through the post, I think ours was bought in 2003 yet we got the £5 refunded. My Mum was obviosuly sent a letter as your AC tracks your purchases, just shows how useful it can be.
Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!
  • This a good point, but I have actually visited the Lakeside store and remember it having a good selection of toys and children's things in general.

Lewisham had plenty at Xmas, but only left over bits since. I am going tomorrow (all being well) so will have a look out and let you know.

    Triple points spectacular!*
boots.com are delighted to be able to offer you this fantastic Triple Points Spectacular*; a great big 12 Advantage Card points for every £1 you spend* from Wednesday 12th July to Thursday 13th July 2006, at the Boots online shop*, no other loyalty card in the UK is more generous.

I always get followed by security in one certain store too. I've come to the conclusion that its because I spend ages in there browsing (aka looking for bargains/glitches) I just smile and say "hello AGAIN" now
