I bought a camera with my points yesterday. I had about £111 in points and looked to see what they had. The Kodak Easyshare C533 was in a big display showing reduced from £179.99 to £119.98. However, in the cabinet there was the same camera with a price label showing reduced from £129.99 to £86.66.
I decided I would like the camera (it is a new one, only out in June, and suited my needs) so pointed all the details out to the young SA. When she scanned the camera boxes it came out at £119.98. Then she tried putting in £86.66 manually - and that came up as £57.76! I suggested she scanned the barcode for the lower price but that didn't work. Eventually she typed in £129.99 from the lower priced barcode and it took off the 30% and charged me £86.65. I wasn't complaining! I can't find it below £100 anywhere else, so as a freebie from my points I am very happy - and I still have over £23 of points left.

I tried to use one of those vouchers for nappies for my toddler last year and was told that they would only work on the first two sizes of huggies. Not to be fobbed off, I got the SA to try it anyway. For once the SA was right! They would only work on size one and two, in that particular store anyway ...

The avene thing worked for me..but I got it alongside a reduced bottle of avene facial toner...(reduced to £2.70) also bought a £90 pushchair and bunch of baby clothes at the time though so it probably wouldn't have raised any suspicion anyway..

Glad everyone is making good use of the avene offer. Yes it does go through the till at 0.00 gwp so you can get it without buying ANY avene product- however if it goes through first it is very noticeable to the SA so it is up to you if you want to risk it. I did it once no problem and said it was free with another body product but as a lot of SA are toughing up, so I now just get a small water at £3.95 and if questioned can just say I thought it was with any Avene product and unaware of a minimum spend .;)
I prefer to error on the side of caution. Its like everything if its too noticeable and being heavily abused it will get pulled and we will have less glitches again.
So good luck to those who get their sets.:j
And remember to get your £2 mascara with your maybeline vouchers.
Im annoyed because I have searched high and low for the no.7 summer eye palette set and cant find them in any of my stores. I asked the no.7 girl if they were due in and she said helpfully " whenever " !!!!

Have just written to Boots as I don't have a points machine in my local store, although it's quite large. has anyone else done this and had any success?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

just wanted to say I used the £5 no7 voucher with the voucher for save 1/3 off no7 perfect stay mascara. It was £8-50 then with a 1/3 off made it £5-66 then when I handed over my voucher it was just 56 p to pay! Result. thanks to whoever posted this handy money saving tip.

I have done this adding to it the 200 points from the oriental box, but I also got 2 packets of the n7 wipes, added the 200 voucher from the AC machine for the hypo-allergic products therefore:

    Using the 342 offer:
    1 mascara 2 wipes = 6.56p + 400 points not bad!

doesn't actually say that on voucher though does it?!! we use washables during the day & disposables at night so we don't use very many. would have bought boots own instead if had realised wasn't getting discount. well i suppose i've had enough out of them in the past, loads of raffle prizes & stuff to sell at charity coffee mornings etc. so i shouldn't be too mad. was her attitude that peed me off more than anything! you just can't get the staff!!
