In practice, it all depends on the SA.
Best way to get rid of the stuff is to tell a white lie, and say you've had a reaction to another Time Delay product and that this one is unused but you don't want to risk it.
If they get funny, mention the money-back guarantee on the pack.
You should be able to exchange it with no problems - good luck. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Yorkshire girl......I'd get back down there and 'fill yer boots', the offer is still on!£900 towards next holiday...ta very much Mr T x0 -
yorkshiregurl,
I bought 2 reduced ruby and millie about 3 weeks ago, paid under £5 and got 500 points automatically. This was in a bigger Boots so there were signs up on the ruby and millie stand advertising the 500 pts with 2 purchases. The offer is still on the website though (and it always seems to run for a while instore as well) so its probably worth a go for £1!
Good luck0 -
Thanx ppl. Luckily i live only 2 min away from Boots.Just bought 2 foundations for a pound n got 500 points! yay. Might go again later today n tomorrow....dont wanna buy em all at once ..makes it look a bit obvious! lol0

I just love boots CS
Received a delivery from Boots.com the other day - had ordered some xmas pressies and two items were to be Free on 3 for 2 offer.
Got e-mail to say they couldn't supply two due to insufficient stocks but that one had been dispatched with my original delivery.
When the box came the item was missing !!!!!!!
Contacted CS who were very apologetic and because the item was now sold out (it was only for £2 in the first place) they would credit my AC card with 1000 points.

Just had an amusing 10 minutes winding up the make up women in my local Darlington Boots branch.
Tried to use the £1 off voucher to get some already reduced 17 nail varnishes (along with other items). No where on the voucher does it say you can't use it on reduced stuff.
She spent ages going on about how I'd get them for free and my answer was a simple "yes but the voucher doesn't say I can't use it on them." She even went off to phone CS who she said agreed with her. I think she got more angry as I was being so polite and sticking to my point!
To be honest I didn't think I'd get it through but it was worth the time just to see how far she'd go to fight for £1...
Oh and while I was in the clearance section I noticed men's FCUK washbags are down to £2.50 and Boots branded ones down to £1.
Edit:- Have just phoned CS and spoken to a very nice lad, he agreed that the vouchers needed more T&C's on them and awarded me 250 points for pointing it out.0 -
Some new offers today.
Free botanics wipes with any botanics skincare purchase.
I've noticed in both branches I've been to that botanics bronzing flash and botanics radiance beauty balm, are reduced to £1, but still on the main displays. So I tried to get the free wipes by buying one of the brozing flashes.
However it didn't scan and the SA was having none of it! (Queue and an argument at lunch time!) In the end I gave up and paid for the wipes.I'm going to go back tomorrow and talk to the one decent SA (she always works thurs)However it may be worth a try for someone else.
Also a new winter health care pack free with any boots vitamin / healthcare purchase.
That's all I noticed in the short time I hadMoney, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.
