I've never had the free Wet Wipes voucher either, on my card or DH's... Not fair! :(

Also, a question. I managed to get my MIL addicted to EI handwashes (especially the Honeysuckle ones) from the glitch earlier on in the year (we were getting them free, but I never told her that! :p Just love being in her good books :D). Anyway, now she decided to buy them herself (as I've run out!) and the ladies in her Boots have told her that the range has been discontinued! Is this true?

My new Boots don't stock it anyway, but has anyone else seen them anywhere?

They are still for sale in the Staines Boots, and they have loads of stock.

The manager at Lancaster was having none of it - Shaving Gel is not a facial product, as it can be used elsewhere!! I almost wet myself laughing !
Jeez, what a stupid argument... You could use anything anywhere if you really wanted to, so does that mean that nothing can be classed as a facial product/whatever...

    Boots managers...

Ive seen loads in a few stores ive been to recently too. Think they were all priced at £1.66 still and no discontinued labels or anything. Maybe your local store only has limited shelf space so is making room for faster shifting products perhaps? I missed the ACM offer but i buy this range anyway and love the handwash :)
  • A friend has told me about a Tommee Tippee Breast Pump half price - £12.50 - in Boots but I couldn't see it when I looked. Has anyone else seen these?

Did yours go through automatically or did the SA have 2 override it, it's just that I did this and it didn't work, I was charged full price, am wondering if I picked up the wrong pamper product.

I'm calling customer services about this - some people are getting this freebie pack, some arn't, its unfair and partial advirtising.

  • I went into Nottm boots today (Victoria Centre) and they had some ruby and millie cheek colours, lipsticks and face base reduced at the end of one of the counters - bought two, spent £4.48 and the till gave me 500 points automatically. So the offer points do still work with reduced items! There were quite a few left (you could use the cheek colours as eye shadows) so if anyone is there it is worth a look. The assistants were checking every single voucher though!

    hi bristolfarmer,

no, she didn't overide it, first i got her to try the soaps that were 99p, but they didn't work, so i ran and got the shave gels and they went straight through, only paid £1.37!!! :)

But if I buy, for instance, sun cream £24,50 and No7 wipes £6 and use £16,50 voucher, the till may deduct just the £6 from the total!!!

I used a 16.50 voucher today, bought the 24.50 set, also got No7 wipes for 6.00 and used a 5.00 skin care voucher. Till charged me 1.00 and I got 2 gift bags. I bought other stuff as well so it didn't look too obvious.
