  • did you pay on a credit card? if so, check to see if you have any purchase protection - some credit cards will refund the difference if the price goes down in a set period. I know Barclaycard, Egg and Virgin Money do this - not sure about the others

I think I will try - if they offer no help to me whatsoever, then I'll just accept it and pay the extra anyway.

I hope I get to speak to someone who is willing to be helpful :o

Youre not paying extra, youre paying the price which was current at the time.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • I'd give it a go, ask for a refund because she saw it and didn't like it and then maybe wait a few days and go back and buy it at the new price?

    Will
    SShhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I meant I'll just leave it as it is.

Anyway, I rang Argos Customer Services before, and they said that Argos CAN let me refund then buy it back, but it will be at the managers discretion. I'm hopeful of being able to do something about it, but if I can't, then I'll just happily accept it.

I thought it was a fair question.

Really? Seriously? Have you ever been behind anyone in a shop who was offering to pay more because the item had gone up?

    Nah. Didn't think so somehow.

Takoda has got a point though.

It's a website for money saving, I made a Thread about saving some money as a consumer, and I get the impression that you jumped on the bandwagon because some other degenerate decided it was better to be sarcastic than helpful.

Not that I blame you or anything ;)
