How seriously is abuse, cyber stalking, bullying, etc taken on this site?

talking of tactics, you and I become part of the tactics if we chose to bully in response, let's not fool ourselves and say it's all the other person's fault - no, it isn't, it is always the bully's fault because abuse is never acceptable, let's be crystal about that

People, if they are AEs as you suggest, react in that way when there is an unresolved issue, it is ok to address it and just help them set it aside as a bad chapter and move on.

However, it I were in your position and felt I was being hounded for no reason, then I would simply go away and register under another name.

But by doing that, it can be really obvious. On another forum, I requested my username be deleted and that I setup another one and got told this is ok. Had someone ask me if I was this poster, to which I replied yes and I do beleive someone made a thread asking me if I was also this person.

Could the team clarify the site's position on AEs? I was under the impression that this was disapproved of.

Please be aware that from now on, the creation of an account for use as a "clone" of an existing user is unacceptable. Any such account will be deleted and the posting priveleges of the offender may be removed.

Please report any such instances of clone accounts to the Abuse team as normal.

Upto you, speaking for myself I'm not here taking any decisions or even examining the OP, I'm just clear that bullying isn't an option, no more no less.

and just to add one final thing, if you feel picked on or bullied, ignore and walk past as if they don't exist, the bullies are those who seek to control, when they don't get hold of you, they just leave you be because they don't like being ignored and don't forget to report

I've said this much in good faith and choose to leave at this.
