I'm not sure how you come to this conclusion. (ignorning electrical issues) I'd much prefer a laguna. All the seats are better, it has a better ride and i can't remember the stats but i'm pretty sure its load capacity is better than a megane ST.

I'm a big Renault fan although admittedly despite driving them continously over a five year period i've never had to deal with "ownership problems". Allthough i can say in the average 0-3 months old that i had them for they were faultless! :rotfl:Except the ones with a FAP filter, avoid them like the plague...USELESS.

It was the electrical issues, and the clutch that sprang to mind

It was claimed in all the reviews at the time I was looking for mine that the capacity, load space, is bigger AND more usable,ie squarer/more boxy. Important for me, check it out if you don't believe it, rear space is better than standard magane as it has 11" extra wheelbase and wider doors. Won't argue about comparing the 2 other than the stats as I've never had a Laguna.

We have had a family of Renaults for the past 7 years or so, none given any issues that6 weren't dealt with under waranty. The dealerships? that's altogether a different story in my area;)

Come on, be honest, all Renaults are crap.;)

Nissan's were excellent cars until they got stitched in with Renault, now Nissan's are as bad as Renault's.

Now you see what I mean ;);)
