Hi
Wondering if anyone could advise as I am very confused as to the array of TV's out there and all the techie speak! I want to buy a 32 inch HD TV but not sure which model is best and what others specs there is to look out for? I watch the TV for programmes and occasional DVD/console usage. It is not a must but I wondered if there was a TV with a DVD player inside as well? I was also hoping to get a slimish model....and the budget is about £400-500. Any advice would be greately appreciated.

Stick to a known make - you wont go far wrong with Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, even LG though I am not a fan.0

But shop around. Comet are selling the first one above at £399.99.
Get proof of Comet's price at your local store and ask JL to match it.
Here is JL's 'Never Knowingly Undersold' policy.
So, you should be able to buy that television at JL with JL's free 5-year warranty for under £400.0 -

The Comet link is an older model so JL won't price match.
A decent TV, but the warranty is worth the extra IMO.
Seeing as I didn't get any thanks for first post, probably shouldn't have bothered posting this...:rolleyes:0 -

What?
If someone takes the time to post a 'Useful' reply, it's courtesy to thank them.
Several others users have said the same in similar situations - I hope you're posting the same rubbish on those threads too.
The OP thanked a user who simply named several 'known' makes but didn't bother for someone who had actually done some of their research for them.0 -
Absolutely right. Sorry for the misleading information. The Comet link is an older model so JL won't price match.
However, the principle still stands...Buy from John Lewis, but shop around.
Get proof of the competitor's price and ask JL to match it.
