Maybe...just maybe people should cut the OP some slack here.

They're obviously not a seasoned Ryanair user like most on here, and I wasn't either until last year. I know that prices with Ryanair can change at anytime, but the OP wasn't to know that. If it was me this time last year and it'd happened to me, I'd certainly have been gutted too.

Usually I agree with the Ryanair brigade when people make stupid mistakes like names, dates etc but the OP has every right to vent when the price drops after the fact. Unfortunately for the OP, they have learned the hard way to keep checking flights...the same as many of us will have done years before.

well i'm not surprised by your responses, i guess i just wanted to rant. I just wish these type of companies would be upfront and have a straightforward system,

It is straightforward. They offer you a flight at x price. You accept x price. Deal.
    From Poland...with love.

    They are (they're)
    sitting on the floor.
    Their
books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.

    Why do you think that?
  • Just wait until you see the cost of going out in Dublin!

Because this is a forum, and if people want to say something (whether you think they were stupid in not waiting to see if they dropped), they have every right to do so. I'd be just as gutted as the OP.

The only thing it is is a lesson learned for the OP in to keep checking. But for someone who does not book regulary with Ryanair and feels a little gutted about the price going up, I think they have the same right as everyone else to come on a forum and vent.
