Just recieved my next leter which states "final notice before legal action" all bold and in red ink.

i noticed that the threats about action against me states " you may be", " You could be" not once does it say you will be.

Oh and the amount has now increased.

It is now filed away with the other letters :D

Have to admit I missed that freudian slip when reading the OP. But don't you just love it, telling a PPC to stick it up their bum, lol! Good on you Devol!

(Makes mental note to use that word in that same context somewhere soon).

You have to pay those "pay and display" charges, there is nothing wrong with them and nobody on here says you shouldn't.

What is illegal and unenforceable is the excess charges (sometimes approaching £100) which the PPCs demand if you exceed that limit, or break any of their "rules", such as not parking correctly in a bay, or "misusing" a disabled or parent and child place. That's the difference.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
