No, do what ormus at #2 said and do it today, don't "look into it"
Cancel them all, and mental note not to take on any more, please.
Wonder if you can claim any monies back ?
I have guesstimated you have spent about £1100 - £1210 in the last three years in total and not that £42/month figure.0 -
I'd pay for the gas because that can be very expensive to fix. I had that service and I saved hundreds in call outs and parts.
For the rest, it's not worth the money. You're better off putting that cash into a separate account and if any one of your items breaks then buy a new one from that savings pot.0 -
cancel them all, £8 for Sky! thats £96 a year. If your box breaks, you can buy a second hand one for less than that to cover you till the years up and then ask sky for another one or threaten to leave!0

any one of those white appliances could be replaced after ten months with the cash you are forking out.
a boiler repair? no idea of the average costs but prob in the region of say 150 quid.
can you see the pattern developing here?
they are not charities, they make good profits.Get some gorm.0 -
As they say in America, do the math.
I have never had one of these policies in 50 years and have never needed one. Put the money in an account which is earmarked for just such an occurrence. Only thing that I have got, is an annual payment to a local gas maintenance company. What I pay annually includes an annual service of the boiler. I cannot recall how much it is, but I do know that it is about half the cost of a BG one.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
The TV insurance has cost you £612 alone. For that money you could get a decent new TV so I can't help thinking its a rip offEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

personally I would probably keep boiler cover (but get it cheaper), having a broken boiler on the day I moved in at £360  and 3 breakdowns since (covered thankfully).0

I would agree with scraping all expect boiler cover make sure it covers the heat exchanger. Cheaper is not always better, remember that. Try and get a better value cover.0
