:o Bought some silicon baking stuff - very cheap in Home Bargains at the mo so doubt they'll be on the shelves for long.

Anyway, no point putting off the inevitable. Spent £8.35.

£24.24/£20. Will set the bar higher next week due to Xmas run-up! Sorry I let you down folks :o

  • Gaaaaaargh  Epic fail!

Had lunch with my bestie today and we foolishly decided to go to the most expensive cafe in town in search of a mocha. So that's £5.90 spanked on lunch.

Must try harder! Nearly there peeps!

  • karom sorry to hear you will not be joining our weekly escapades but glad you have found something that works for you. Pop in and say hello when you get the chance.

sarief bringing lunch in with me is the key to me saving money. I notice all my spends seem to be food/drink related so I always save loads when I am on a diet

true I am really excited about the meet but also slightly scared hopefully I will not be kidnapped by the people of the internet.

lala don't worry about being over this week, just try again next week you will get there eventually. As for letting us down you definetely have not, I am sure you have spent less than you normally would.

kate hope the expensive lunch was worth it was it tasty?

no spends out of the weekly budget today just some spends from the grocery budget (I have slyly sneaked in a bottle of wine:D)

  • Booo! £1.43 on bits for lunch again today. So that takes me 33p into the red! Fail!

Does anyone else find that the week after payday is always the hardest to control your spending? The week before is easy because there's no money to spend, lol.

I hope everyone else has done well this week. xx

This week has also been harder because of Christmas presents! It's a struggle to stop myself going spend-happy after payday, I always lose track as soon as that money goes into my account! :o
