  • I'd completely forgotten to check this thread and hadn't subscribed! Hello to all the newbies (newer than me anyway!) and good luck!

I'm down to about 7 for the rest of the week as I went out with the girls for lunch as one of them has now gone back to Oz, and 2.45 on lunch yesterday. Shiny NSD for me today as had a long day at work.

I've just done the same as Chuggington girl and now have 3 savings accounts to try and keep track of everything a bit more, but now I have to wait for all the DD's etc to clear and see what I have left! Got in a bit of a muddle earlier this week over what money goes where!

  • Evening all,

I have just returned from the flick, I went to see the Decent 2 which was ok but I was really annoyed at the couple behind me that rustled through the entire thing. Golden rule of the cinema only eat quiet things:mad:

Anyway spends today were £2 on salad from the canteen and £3 for food before cinema. Total £5

Only two more days until the weekend and also the Scottish meet woohoo:j

Hello Pointy, Been away and then hardly any time to log in.
Been reflecting on the challenge and has found that 'cause of the way I define NSD and my personal situation I need to look at a monthly budget management.
I don't get to do any of the food shopping and apart from travel I should be restrained (which is what I am need to get in check) and my big spend day would be the Saturday. I may fail on one week and be ok for the next 2 but the overall monthly is not yet right.
I am going to go for a monthly management to monitor my spend better and hopefully meet overall target. I wanted to let you know that this challenge over the weeks in Oct/Nov has helped me very much to assess what is right for me and get me in the right track to start on a monthly budget. Thank you xxxx
All the best and have a great Christmas

Am up to £40.05 even with an NSD yesterday as was off sick, but that's coz I forgot that would have to top up my mobile. Taking lunch to work has made such a difference and is a mini personal challenge for me for the whole of December (when I am at work anyways!) ;)

So have just under £30 for the rest of the week which am hoping not to spend too much of!

    Hey all!

Resisted the choccy yesterday but caved and bought a bottle of wine instead :o but it was half price !! So that's £3.99 out of my budget leaving me £1.01! It was nice wine though......

Hope you enjoy the meet pointy - I'm actually jealous I don't live in Scotland and travelling from Cornwall isn't very economical :rotfl:!!

Wow it's Thursday already and still a no spend day. That's what happens when you work nights and just want to go home and get into bed rather than pop to the shops!

Im really cross as I spent £16 on posting christmas cards and a few gifts....I just hadnt thought of how much they would cost to post but altogether it seems such alot! although they will cheer everyone up so thats the main thing.and I bought too many stamps so have 11 stamps left : )

Just disapointed as I was doing so well this week

Although I have really changed my thinking...I think its clocked now! yeah! at long last! as Ive stopped myself sooo many times from buying things which I dont need.I hope it lasts! I spent £1.75 on bread and squash
