Hiya, Can i join you all please. Is it personal spends you account for or is total spending ? Once i know this i will post an amount

    thankyou

Hello you can include what you what to. Most of us just use this challenge for anything that you do not have a budget for so incidental spending that you could do without. For example I don't include food shopping from the grocery budget but if I bought snacks at lunchtime I would include these in the weekly challenge. Some people don't include entertainment if they have a budget for that others do. Other include anything they spend at all. Really it is what works for you. It is best to try it out for a week or two then you can make an informed decision.

Let us know how much you want to pledge and I will add you to the list.
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • Happy Hump Day Budgeteers,

I still have my budget intact. I did spend £14 on DVDs yesterday but that is coming from another budget.

Might be off to the cinema this evening which may involve some spending but we shall see.

Spent a grand total of 29p yesterday on a card for a friend having a baby, other than that all spends were work related and the money wasn't even mine! Will definitely stick to my budget this week as I have no planned expenditure for the rest of the week.

  • Howdy budgeteers!

I've spent £1.55 on naughty snacks from the pasty/pie/sausage roll stall by my office this week :o Not helping the budget or the waistline, lol.

Got hit with a spend I'd forgotten about last night, buying a gift for the Secret Santa Hamper at Slimming World, so that's another £1.45 to add. I also had to pay £10 for our christmas meal, but am at present trying to justify that from another budget so that I don't blow this challenge :rotfl:

It's dreary and nasty here today. Hope you're all having a good week xx
