stars done to 63
Last week there were a 139 stars awarded with 11 flyers doing all five days lists. Well done everyone! That means 139 rooms were cleaned and sparkling this week.
Compared to 171 the week before...........
OK that was a poor week - lots of things going on so not a huge amount of cleaning done - as pigpen so rightly says only 26 sleeps to the big day so we want our houses to be all sparkly, clean and tidy so that we can enjoy the festivities - now dont we?????? (the answer is 'yes' BTW)
No leaving it to the week before either - give yourselves a break this year and spread it out - it doesnt matter if you dont get stars - thats not why I am saying this - it matters to me that you all get the things done that you need to and are not tooooooooooooooooo worn out to enjoy the time with your family and friends.
maybe try giving one room a real deep clean every week from now until christmas?

Carlsberggran - carlsberggran?!! What's this?!!!! I blame that blooming VALLI!!!!! I am obviously the youngest grandma (ok so I lie like a cheap rug as well!!!) still thinking of calling myself Nana after my wonderful, fabulous and loving Nana; won't be able to live up to her name but would like to carry it on in the family. Mum wouldn't call herself that as Nana was still here when I had DS. Opinions welcome
Toots - your right we will be there for her as always, been sending private messages to her on FB as she can't talk much as her mum listens in. Said of course we will have her, it's up to her she is old ennough at 14 to make her own mind up, even the courts would agree. Yes, she doesn't want to lose her mates, I can understand that but she will make new ones and at least she knows my neices that would be at the same school, only 1 and 2 years below her, though to look at her with all her make-up on and dyed hair you wouldn't think so!!!!To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -
My days are
Tuesdays - towels and catching up with other washing
Wednesday evening - shopping
Thursdays - clean house from top to bottom excluding DD and DS's rooms. Change beds
Fridays - towels again. Ironing if cannot be avoided
Saturdays - absolutely nothing
Sundays - seem to catch up with washing
This is apart from cooking and washing up. Baking happens almost every day. I used to clean the bathrooms twice a week but I seem to have forgotten about that some time this summer and I can't be bothered to restart. Gardening seems to happen as and when in the summer.0 -

I think time for a relaxing bath and then i'll sort the school stuff out.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

I'm concerned - but not too concerned. I just don't want to have to pick the pieces up again. They are 'dating' and she's here most nights but is good and will tell me when she's not going to be in at all. I still think she's too good for him. Oh, he's not a bad bloke, it seems to me that he's just totally unreliable and is almost after a mother figure as a girlfriend rather than a girl, if you see what I mean. I know she's far happier seeing him on a dating basis that she was when they were split up.
Kids eh? Yes, us Mum's do worry! xxxI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi all. Thanks Pigpen, Toots and Soappie. I'm in again this week please. As ever I'll never manage to keep up with the thread but I'll be plodding through the lists.
I'm sorting a few things for Christmas and need (or more accurately, want!) some more cellophane and I seem to remember one of you sells it on eBay. Can anyone remember who cos Id rather give my order to a flylady than a stranger...0 -
