I am offically 'high' on bleach fumes!!! _pale_

I'm trying to get the bath white again. It was minging when I moved in here. but Little Bruv added to it when he did the plastering in there. It's stained it orange:eek:

So I have tried good old Stardrops. Stardrops with ammonia, bicarb of soda, white vinegar and now bleach. Not all at once but over a period of time. It's sort of getting there but.............does anyone else have any ideas???

Urgh feel quite sick and light headed now!!!

Dinners for today and tomorrow dished up, will either make the gravy after work or leave it for OH to do (he is better at doing it than me), now going to whip the hoover round then off to work......
  • TAG - can't think of anything offhand but if it's a metal bath u can get them re-enamelled(not sure what it costs tho) - maybe you can get something from a DIY store to restore it.
Toots - congratulations on the carpet. Feels great when rooms start to look nice doesn't it?
Embb - that assembly sounds great fun - wish I could have seen it. I always miss DS2's cos they always hold them on Fridays when i'm wworking:o

Cleaning cloths now in WM on hot wash. Drying continuing... although I think I might have to rewash the first load as it smells musty already, even though it went straight from the WM to the dryer :confused:

AND I'm doing a bit of work...

TAG have you tried steam cleaning it? No idea if it will work but it can't hurt to try and it seems all other options have failed.

    I was only teasing :p

The boys did not finish tidying the playroom last night so we have that to do later. I really need to have a clear and tidy of everywhere tonight as we are sinking again. I need to re-educate people in the 'don't put it down, put it away' mantra before I lose my rag

Huge hugs for those in need, struggling to keep up with everything at the moment including the thread.

Tag - deeply envious of the kittens btw, and looking forward to the pictures. Have you tried Cif? Works well on UPVC when everything else (inlcuding expensive cleaner) failed. Test a bit first though.
