Remind me NEVER to clean the WM filter again  Despite several checks, I clearly didn't get it in properly so it has leaked (luckily I was watching out for it). Unfortunately the idiot who did my utility room made the floor under the units/appliances lower than the main floor , and they're on marine board not concrete, so I have no idea how I'm going to get it dry under there - that's also what makes it difficult to clean the filter as there is very little room.

I now don't know what to do - I have a mountain of washing, but don't want to risk another flood and have no way of telling before switching on the machine whether it's in properly or not.

I'm also tempted to get in touch and ask him to come back and put a concrete base under the WM and DW like he said he was going to... only problem is that he did the work a year ago, and he's married to one of my ex-colleagues who I get on with quite well.

I do know someone who can fix it properly (and it going to sort out all the remaining problems) but not till the new year...

    So who wants my laundry???

    Good morning everyone.
Really not looking forward to todays challenge. Our bedroom and the landing are soooooo messy and cluttered with general stuff.
Going to have a cup o' tea then get started.
Kind thoughts to all those having a difficult time right now.

If I pour a cup or two of water into the WM drum, will that tell me whether or not it's leaking? I'd rather test it with a small amount than set another wash going...

... thinking about it, I'm not sure it will... it started leaking BEFORE the stuff in the drum got wet, so I've been able to open the door and get the dry washing out...

I'm stuck now... any suggestions welcome :D
