  • Aunty - what kind of quilt are you making????
    toots xx
It's a lap quilt as a (very belated :o) graduation present for a friend's daughter - her brother got one and he graduated after her.

valli. Will have to tell my brother that. Even though he has lived in Aberdeen for years he is a Everton supporter as he lived there as a boy.

DB has just phoned to say that my niece and goddaughter was 2nd in a triathlon today in aberdeen - she has the cold and was tired after yesterday so delighted for her - I think thats her best position so far.

Well done to your niece :T

Am currently cooking the roast dinner and once thats done it will be bed I think, uniforms will have to be done in the morning. my mums fab - maybe I'm lucky...
    Mine too, mostly :D

Jinky... have I missed something... what's happening to the utility room floor that means you have to mop it every five minutes?

Lots of presents wrapped, so really need to work out what I'm missing now (must order for DB and his FiL as soon as I've posted). Woodstove tested. I think i've got the hang of it, but it's quite fumy at the moment (apparently its normal when they're new), so now it's cold and dark I've let it go out so I can close the windows and doors! I've also asked my dad to check whether they've got a spare poker and tongs at home, otherwise I need small ones for my birthday (along with a log basket, but I got the impression last time they were here that he'd thought of that!).

I've got myself lots of new Christmas lights to put up, including some to go round the fireplace, as its going to look pretty awful until it has been plastered and painted. I'll get a christmas tree next week when I do my farm shop trip...

DW emptied and filters cleaned, washing up done... a bit more still to do. Kitchen surfaces S&S'd, wrapping stuff tidied in sitting room, so things are almost back to normal. Hot chocolate drunk and thread checked, so better go and finish the washing up and get things tidied away for the start of the week.
  • List nearly finished :j I have a tickly threat and think I'm coming down with a cold icon9.gif

Love the Everton gag, Valli :j
