Good luck with Occ Health Triker (and congrats to Hilda :D)

Everything is ready for the workmen, and of course, there's no sign of them  I suppose I should ring really...

Laundry sorted. Mother sent to shop for milk to stop her hanging around irritating me...

Can't really do much else as contents of sitting room is taking up rest of house (we've taken down all the curtains, which are on the spare bed with cushions & throws, and the coats from the hall are all on my bed!). If we get REALLY bored, we might have to do a clearout in my bedroom.

My dad's arriving this afternoon, but as it's peeing with rain I don't think we'll get any gardening done. He might be able to do a bit of grouting in the utility room though! ;)

Once we've cleared up after the woodstove installation, the sitting room should have been thoroughly spring cleaned!

    Morning all

Rain, rain go away and come again another day

    Triker
    - congratulations to Hilda, have I ever told you I'm really scared of chickens:confused:

Rach - well done on driving in central London :T

Greenbee - I hope the stove installation goes well

Rose - this week can be better sweetie

I've surpassed myself and reached a level of stress usually reserved for the 20th December - I feel sick with stress and the fact that I think AF could be coming to stay early is making me a blubbering wreck - good help the neighbours for Dolly could be on full blast all day.

Plan HHF and HHC on and off all day.

  • Thanks Pigpen, Soapie and Tootes. I'm in again.
:mad:Not in a very good mood! DD1 off due to period pains and something else. DD2 - after being lovingly nursed through piggy flu last week has gone to school WITHOUT her waterproof. And we're having the most awful weather here at the mo. AND I TOLD HER SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE SHE LEFT TO PUT IT ON:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I've also got a rotten headacke and am fighting the urge to go back to bed and hide.

And breath.... There feel much better now...... shall have this coffee and then get some tidying up done.........aaaahhhhh. Thanks for listening.:o

DD decluttered to school. DS1 & 2 in bed with a sickness bug, lets hope they don't share it around. Made a great start on my ben washing over the weekend but I now have a huge pile of iron/put away stuff to do. Have had quite a good weekend OH and DS1 were working away so me and the littlies lay about watching films and eating junk and my house stayed reasonably tidy too ! Just waiting for some parcels to be delivered and then I'll make a start.

    Hello again!

Ok, so the lounge, hall and stairs ... would be easy enough apart from the need to get rid of a TV cabinet from the very small 'hall' before DH gets home. I'm sure I could Freecycle it but I'd rather get a tenner or twenty for it to pay for some baskets so we keep the DVDs etc in under the coffee table.

Oh, and I've got a 'poorly' child home today, on the understanding that he'll be stuck in bed and not allowed near anything fun if he's too ill to make it into school. (He's not in double figures yet so a day in bed wouldn't normally appeal to him!)

Worst of all though - I've run out of both tea and coffee because I was going to restock at the supermarket this morning. I can't drag poorly boy with me but I've no idea how I'm going to make it through the day without a cuppa. (I ran out of coffee on Saturday evening and eked the last tea-bag out to two mugs for DH this morning.)

    Ok - here I go!
  • Morning everyone. Just decluttering some warming porridge. Dailies half done then onto list.
Triker - congrats on the egg & good luck for the tests- ooh & Rach too.
