Any suggestions do I sell it ( nokia 5800)or is there a swap it site or what ever????

Hi I picked up my replacement phone yesterday from insurance (nokia 5800) .
want to swap it for a blackberry.

Over the phone, the sales rep said I could swap it :T
then as his boss was there ( which I did not twig to at the time as I was rushing. He retracted his offer and denighed the conversation:confused:

He suggested I put it on flee bay as its in a sealed box which I have done but thats another problem as never listed before and I cant find the listing when I search !!!

Is there anywhere else where I could swap it and pay extra if needed or whatever ???????? There must be a site somewhere. Want to save us all money.

Thanks for any suggestions.

"denied" I must correct your spelling :D

If its brand new, your best bet is ebay I think. But you do need to know a little about how ebay works - pop into the ebay forum on this site to ask.

Or you could sell it via sites like mazumamobile but they are offering roughly £100 which aint much.

ebay is best option - 10 day listing, start at 99p (it will sell) on 10 day auction starting on a Thursday so it ends on a Sunday evening - £5 say for p&p, you have to take into account ebay final value fees and paypal fees. mazumamobile, envirophone offer roughly what you might get from ebay after fees.

If your not eBay savvy, don't list it there as eBay is a scammers paradise!

Try a small ad on something like Gumtree, offer for cash or swap. Only deal face to face, ie don't post it etc. Also try CEX or shops that trade phones.

I would say Gumtree is just as much a scammer's paradise as Ebay.
