I didn't know they still did this on overcharges. My local asda used to do it a few years ago and I did get the gift card but then they said they didn't do it anymore.
I always check my reciept and have gone to customer services at least once a month in the last few years but never been given on since.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -

Im sick of asda and their overcharging.
It seems to be everytime i shop there there is something that has gone through at a HIGHER price than the shelf tag.
Today i bought about 7 items and THREE were overcharges!!!!
Its funny its never undercharged!
What really gets to me though, is the way the customer service, seem irritated at your presence. Maybe its just me! but thats how they treat me as if im a huge inconvenience - how dare i ask for my money back and an item that they have overcharged me on. They are very defensive about it to. I receive no apology, and of course i have to ask for the £2 giftcard, which they say "oh im just getting to that", which you know is a lie!
Another lie in fact, as i suspect that asda is delibertaely mispricing, just think how many people dont check their receipts and those that do, how many bother to go back and go through the enjoyable experience of their customer service.
A shop which i will be avoided in future if i can :mad:0 -
MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. My local ASDA are always making mistakes with their prices.
I emailed to complain saying that for the 3rd time in a row some of the offers had not appeared on my reciept and that I had been charged the full price.
I got an email back saying "This will not happen again"... er... really?0
