I sent one to our 5yr old via Mummy's email address. They watched it together, mummy with tears down face of happiness and wee one so smiley it's unbelievable. Seemed to think it more real than visiting Santa's grotto in the local garden centre....

I went through all the steps then couldn't get a photo to upload (hadn't seen the tip here for getting it to work) so just tried to go onto the next step but got a message saying the elves were doing essential maintenance to the site or something so come back another time

Try again at a different time, i've found first thing in the morning UK time is the best time as the website is less loaded.
  • Took a few goes (kept getting 404 page at last step) but finally managed to get one of these sorted for our 6 year old.

Also had issues getting it to upload a photo - kept refusing despite it being a JPEG and well under the 3mb size limit.

Anyway, set this up and showed it to him last night - he loved it, and seemed totally taken in by it, especially when he said his name and then opened up the book with his photo in it!

Great little seasonal freebie, which I am now advising others at work about.
  • does anyone know how to save the video, it worked ok but do i have to email it to my self to play it tonight when dd comes home. thank in advance

Yes you can email it to yourself. I'm trying to figure out how to save to DVD. I've emailed the company and they kindly took the time to reply saying 'it may be available' from January onwards. Maybe next Christmas eh!! In the meantime I have some convertig to do from Flash to MP4.

    Regards
