This would be the correct course of action, if she only found this information via work. But is that the case? Could it be that someone else told her, privately?
You need to be sure of the facts so think carefully if she possibly found this information out privately.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

Tell them you will be consulting a solicitor in your letter. This will make them panic.0

100% "RECURITMENT PERSON" found this info from the work, they also disclosed other info which I am not mad about but shouldnt have done so.
Is anybody willing to help me from start to finish ?0 -

But can you prove this? They will need proof in order to do anything, not just a random letter from a non-employee. Were there any witnesses? Just playing Devil's Advocate here, so I'm not "having a go".
The Information Commissioner won't just investigate random claims like this. You will need to be able demonstrate that the "Recruitment Person" could only have obtained this information through their employer and that this was indeed the source.
So .... how do you know that they got this information through work?
I hope you understand that we need to test whether you are likely to succeed, otherwise we'll be sending you on a wild goose chase with a very frustrating and disappointing outcome, which will only mean more anger/hurt for you.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

I know as people told me that this "RECRUITMENT PERSON" has informed them about my convictions and their work computer has the information about me.
Could I write them as a caution ? and maybe ask them to delete all the information the have about me ?
There must be a way to stop this kind of behaviour where written evidence is not available ?0 -
HI
The information commissioner has a helpline for enquiries. Speak to them about it and then act on the advice. The Cabbage

I'm amazed that people "How do you know?"
How else would these people know anything if the OP hasn't told them ? There's only really one source.
I would write to the company, demand an apology, and also compalin to the relevent authorities.
This person is clearly in the wrong job if they are such a gossip.
I would definitely tell these mates of yours in passing that you have taken steps to deal with this gossip....have them worried for a while no matter what else happens ...can't hurt can it
