4x 454g sausagemeat (two for Christmas Eve, and the others to make 2 more meals for 2 of us next year)

I've been meaning to ask people what they do with sausagemeat? I have bought some to make some HM stuffing but think I have bought too much. CW18 can I just fry it like you could a sausage or does anyone else have any other uses for it?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi all.

Just updating sig - I've also noticed that I'm getting a bit lax with the updating at exactly the time when I need to be very careful. So from now to 23/12 I will update every day.

Today was milk, chips, bananas...the usual.

I've got a few Xmas bits in - four tubs of half price Ben&Jerry's (not found yet by kids) and some Pringles (found but I fought them off) but like other people I'm really trying to avoid buying a load of junk for Christmas - not least because I am doing Slimming World and am going to have to tread very carefully! I've got deliveries booked for 15/12 and 22/12 (£6!!!) for all the vital stuff but I'm not sure if I'll need them both. Time to do a bit more planning I think.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

I just mash it into the base of a pyrex dish (so that it moulds to the shape of the dish) and bake it. I do it with the lid on the dish, though I've known others do it without (but I often find their's dries out too much for my taste).

I then serve up a 'slab' with chips, veg and gravy. I like it with mash instead of chips, but the boys prefer it with chips so it tends to get served that way.

Got my meal deal from Mr M today - but only just. Finished at 12:40 for my lunch break, to discover there were no veg packs left :( Apparently the reason for the 'shortage' of these (and the trifles yesterday) was that people are buying just those items !!!

Came home, had something to eat and drink, and headed back for my last few hours of work. As I walked through the store I spotted someone had found some veg packs, and there were 4 on the shelf (not sure when they'd appeared, but as the meal deal signs had been removed before I went to lunch due to being unable to supply them I don't think people realised the significance of the items on that unit ;) )

Decided they wouldn't still be there by the time I left work, so took a gamble on my locker being cool enough and grabbed and paid before clocking back in.

Everything still felt chilled when I finally knocked off (45 mins late, so 4 hours after stuffing everying in), and is now in my fridge at home - but I forgot to get the baby potatoes I wanted for tea today, so am going to have to dig through my cupboards and see if I still have my "emergency" tinned potatoes :o
