the 106 diesels are the ones to stay away from, i had major problems with headgasket failure and piston liners cracking *( still looking for a new engine)
it seems that this is a common fault with the 1.4 diesel models and with the 1.5 versions.

And also remember that the 106,is the same as a Citroen AX/Saxo,insofar as it shares the same running gear.

    Thanks

I tried confused.com, but my dad wanted me to get fully comp, and it came at around about £1300 for the year

finally found the cheapest place to be tesco car insurance, for £800 a year, but i have to wait till a turn 21, so thats a month away

its stupid, as surely i will forget and become a worse driver by sitting here and waiting :-(

anyhow thats my rant over, and slightly off topic

Be careful if you have the original 106. The pedals are very close together. You can sometimes press two at the same time.
