Weekend Sat 28th- Sun 29th November 2009 - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :D:D:

Hi everybody - I can't believe I am the first one on here today - and I got my third star too!

Hope everyone is busy having fun, instead of posting on here!

Today we are off to a birthday party, bit of shopping and X-Factor to look forward to tonight. I will check back later with my list, have a good day and hugs to those who need them!

Afternoon everyone, (where are you all:p)

    Today
    I have checked online banking
Sorted all papers for reccyling, after using them to make 10 paper mached balloons for rainbows this week; bet you are dying to know what we are going to make.............. Santa's and Snowmen (bet you're impressed):rotfl:
Sharpened crayons for rainbows and chucked the ones that were dead, (had a few donations of crayons from people whose children have "grown up".
Ate toast for breakfast and lunch.
I will clean bathroom and downstairs loo using up old products I have left lurking at back of cupboard.
More washing, hopefully not too much will have to hit the tumble dryer
It wont be a nsd, as I need cheese and rolls, will just have to check fridge if there is anything else.
I will see how much washing I can put away without ironing it:o (that will be most of it)
If I have time I will clean conservatory as it is looking a bit dusty.

I have been busy this week. I have made a big hole in my crimbo shopping. I did most of it online at boots free delivery got 12 presents all 3 for price of 2 and spent £51 and got £12 back in points:j
I am off into loft later to see what other christmas bits I have left, wrapping paper, and cards etc.

I will return later just to check that you haven't all been abducted by aliens.
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

Hi all - hope you're having a fab weekend so far. There's a new £1 poundland opened by me at work today so the £4 quid I spent would have cost me normally about £21 in Mr Tesco. Wow I love Poundland. First one near me in t'valleys so I'm well chuffed as I don't have to travel to Cardiff or Cwmbran!Anyhoo, love to you all.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening everyone,

It's a very wet day in Aberdeenshire today, have been out with my friends for the day. We were going to get the railway up Cairngorm mountain but it took a lot longer to get there than we thought so we just went for lunch instead. Weather wasn't so bad earlier but it's peeing it down now...yuck!

So only a small list for me...
    • Breakfast at home
    • OH paid for lunch :D
    • Dinner at parent's house (thai red prawn curry)
    • Check banking
    • Put away some washing
    • Early night (hopefully!)
Hope everyone has a good evening xx
