It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Arrghhh why do these things always happen to me! I just had to do a simple bleeding of the radiator in my daughters bedroom and it turned into a full scale flood!

The key turned all the way (don't know how that happened ) and the little screw thing in the radiator came out along with a great gush of boiling hot water. I couldn't get the key back in because the water was too hot and so grabbed the nearest thing which was red curtains (yep you guessed it, the colour ran) and then three towells later, a panicked phone call to my nephew, I finally managed to get the key back in.

The water was a lovely shade of red and ran through the floor pouring down the walls in the front room! The carpet in her room in soaking, but I am hoping it will dry out but no doubt the red will show because that is just my luck!

All I wanted was a peaceful afternoon wrapping presents.......

  • I think she has been busy with her Uni course. Hubby is in Afghan for a few months at the moment...........:(

well, back to it- off to see Charlie and then get my ingredients for Mon and Tue.

That's the problem - when you stop for a few minutes to contemplate life you don't want to do much else ;)
