Spud, you could always rate all the nuts as bin, and then there's only fruit and seeds for you to get. Although it does say it's all done in the same factory so there could be traces, so probably best to avoid.

Aye, I have to be sensible (occasionally) even where a freebie is concerned

I have a problem and I really hope you lot can help...........

I worked with someone who was promised a deal at work which didnt come off, he has caused as much damage as he can to our department and any sympathy I had for him has long since worn off, he is a dangerous man but seems to think that ringing me at least 3 times a week is justified.

He has just rang and once again spouted such venom that I am sat here in tears.
I dont ever want to speak to him again but I am so worried that if I "turn" on him then I will be one of his targets.........

I honestly dont know what to do:(:(........I guess I am frightened.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Is that the Leeds xmas market? I've been meaning to go since it opened this year, it was fab last year. Just beware of the hot chocolate, I ordered an amaretto one thinking it would be flavouring, like in coffee shops, but he put two shots of the real stuff in! Had to balance it on the car floor till I could get home and drink it.

Don't worry about liqueurs in hot liquids - the heat evaporates the alcohol pretty quickly.

Never appease - it does mark you as a target.

Make a note of the time of the call and get BT to block him.

I can understand your worry about turning on him and making things worse. But if he is unhinged enough to phone you and you don't do something what might he do next? Is there someone at work you can discuss with? Personally I would approach the police, I think its your only option. Have you tried to reason with him that its not your fault, maybe if you are sturn with him ie when he goes off say " This is not my fault, if you continue to call me I will have no option but to approach the police. It puts you a bit in control. Guess it depends how you feel about talking to him and whether its likely to work

Again I think I would be tempted to explain all to the police and let them handle it hun xxx

He usually rings my home or my mobile and he has several phones.

I am thinking of just not answering the phone if I dont recognise the number........:o

I am hoping that once he starts in his new job the phonecalls will stop.

I have told the bosses at work that he has been ringing me and that I am trying to avoid his calls as I dont want them to find out later.........I just dont need the hassle of all this.

How come he's got your private number, I'd just tell him that you don't want to hear it!

Tell him to stop ringing. If he fails to do that, then make a complaint to the police under the anti-stalking law.

You have to do that alas.
