didn't get into town today - Wayne is poorly, sick and (hopefully) dying so decided to hang around home. I did manage to get my vacuuming done, two staircases, landing, bathroom, Evie's bedroom, kitchen floor (couldn't be arised getting the sweeping brush out) and living room floor. Managed to dust the fireplace so it looks half decent now. the washing is on the airer and tomorrow I'll pop it in the tumble drier to finish off!

It's so cold I've got the fire on AND the central heating. I'm amazed at how much difference it makes with the house next door now being empty; feels so much colder now:(

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

It does make a difference, we noticed when we moved from a terraced house to a semi detached takes a lot more to heat it although living on the top of a hill doesnt help either:rolleyes:
