Case for mobile SOGA?

Why don't you just upgrade?0

One of the other posters quite rightly posted that the phone comapny may have no obligation beyond the end of the contract? You would need to check the T&C's but I'd tend to agree that the phone wasn't actually purchased, therefore there is no contract, therefore no SOGA..... my opinion, not fact....
But regardless, I think 19mths is questionable for a mobile phone anyway, its a mobile device that tends to get thrown about, dropped, sat on etc... Under SOGA, they might offer to repair, or they might offer a partial refund but to be honest, its value must be low.
I think your best bet would be to purchase a second hand phone on ebay.
well the fact says that any "free" gifts, ie the phone for taking out a contract, are covered by soga, not actually sure what happens when they offer a full refund for a free item?:oBack by no demand whatsoever.0 -

That would mean committing to an 18 month contract with an increase in tarriff of £10-15 PCM or £180-£270 over the term of the contract for something that will probably last me (if its anything like this phone) another 19 months?
I think not. I'd rather buy another phone direct i think.0
