I LOVE it, excellent way to find the best possible price for music and quite a wide range available:T keep up the good work;);)0

I still buy all my music on CD, but I love the fact that you don't put any DRM protected music on the site.0

I agree with most posters, functionally good, artistically challenged.
The LHS column, I can understand. However, the right hand column doesn't meet any scenarios (use cases) that I would ever imagine wanting to do. Eg Having two places where I can link with twitter within a couple of sq inches of screen space is clumsy.
if (for whatever reason) you really need the functions that the right hand side provides, and couldn't for example put them underneath, then they should be much smaller. The wow factor of comparing the least and most expensive, is short lived, mostly we just want to see the cheapest few to decide between and don't care about the most expensive.
The "what's searched" and "top 10 email" seem to be marketing devices to generate traffic and stimulate demand - as such not really in keeping with MSE - we know what we want and the main tunechecker box helps us get it for the best value (comments about bit rate noted as to why this might not be the cheapest).
I suspect you are trying to mirror the stuff that the main MSE site does with the mailing list and latest MSE news - don't do it. So my advice is to lose the functions the Right hand column provides (leave the marketing to more commercial companies). Then you should do either (or both) of
* lose the column all together and use the extra space to make the seraching better (as other posters have indicated)
* shrink the column and put something like Top 100 album/single lists from independent reviewers (eg Q's 100 favorite albums) - as Lovefilm.com does to be a bit more useful than what's top 10 at the moment
keep up the good work - I hope you get the balance right between monetising the site and helping is do what MSE does best : get the best deal for the consumerI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Just to say huge thanks for many of the comments.
We're looking at the bugs reported - though tracking is always a question of development - we hope people will report when things are missing.
As for design - quite a few of the things mentioned were simply due to the fact we're half way thorugh moving things (e.g. there will only be on lot of social networking links on the right- we're shrinking the right hand side down)
yet there were lots of other things food for thought - so some will need to wait to post launch

Great idea!!
Result set frame is a bit small. Might be nice to be able to sort. Lots of unused real estate (on 1920x1200), but otherwise good.
Saved myself 6 quid on a couple of albums I've been after for ages :money:Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted

Love it
Agree with most posters, site a bit busy for my liking, but the principle is fine. Used it to find some obscure soul artists and it was no better nor worse than any other site.
