Advise on paints please

:eek:Yes i`m a women :) so know very little about decorating tbh. :o Right as silly as it sounds are the top make paints a must or are there cheap versions that do the job better, or just as good as them? Reason i`m asking is we will be moving into our first family home early next yr and i have been thinking about how much…

I was surprised to find out that the glass fibre hull of my pal's yacht is painted with Dulux Gloss and has been for several years. We sail in it often and there is no sign of it coming off or flaking. If Dulux Gloss can stand up to those conditions, it must be a pretty good product for use in the home I would have thought.

I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
