'Yeah, but, at the end of the day .......'

 Isn't that the most infuriating phrase ever!

I'm not sure whether you mean hope to those who have lost hope, or to the mentally ill? Hope wanes and waxes I think. And sanity.

LIR, we've not chatted for ages! How are you my little chicken?

I can think of a few others.
I think it depends on your local area and what the cliche idiom is.

In here it's probably that the "bubble is burst" or that some have "missed the boat"

You ought not be so ignorant - those mentally ill need more hope and love than anyone, and they will be, the majority, just fine with that.;)

Definately the repeated use of 'missed the boat' .......

I imagine some might argue the 'debt is not wealth' or 'inflation is theft' are more annoying, but I still giggle. Favourite is 'HPI cheerleading debt junkies', always brings a smile to my face :D

...But, again- what boat? What destination?

your 'debt is not wealth' or 'inflation is theft' or 'HPI cheerleading debt junkies' is only used by one or two posters though ;)

I'm a bit off the board ATM. I had a break & it all seems different with fresh eyes, I know you know what I mean about board boredom. :)
