because I have yet to find putting cash into my computer as a viable method for spending online. If you know of a way, I'm all ears.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

from memory when i used it a couple weeks ago (the one in birmingham city centre) i paid it in at lunch time (so would have been around 12.30 when i checked my balence that evening it was showing on there,
EDIT - looking at the slip that i paid in at 13:06 got it states that "items deposited after 3.30pm may be processed the next working day" so maybe they tally the machines at a certain time. mine definatly showed the same day on the account but a few hours later
also you can use the machines using a card or paying in slip. so their may be a difference there (i used my card for paying in)MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -

Looks like you were right, it went in about 30 minutes agoAt least I know now, I would hope they'd tell us though.
Thanks all0 -
RBS & Natwest machines do NOT credit immediately, unlike the Halifax ones.
However, these machines will upgraded in the near future which will allow credits to be deposited into the account straight away.
The payments have to be manually processed, hence why it doesn't show up immediately on your account. Payments are processed at least twice a day, and we do try our best to make sure payments after 3.30 pm are even credited on the same day.
I for one ask customers if they need the cash immediately, or if it can go in sometime on the day that they're paying in - and only then will I walk them over to the machineAnything that I do say, is strictly my opinion
