  • On alot of occasions the answer isn't always on the landing page. For example, when the question is in regards to mobile phones, the landing page doesn't hold the answer, you actually have to locate the answer yourself, such is the case here. :)

For those who get a blank page, best to wait a while, and then try again, could be due to excessive server load. :)

i know but it a list of countries they have shops in. i guess it's just the ones in europe.

    This hours question is;

The Samsung Solid Extreme is tough enough to pass which military standard?

    IETF-MIPSHOP
    PIC-NIC
    IP57 :D
    MPEG-IF

    Samsung Solid Extreme
    Waterproof & Dust Resistan

    • Complies with the IP57 (Ingress Protection) standard
    • Submersible up to 1 meter for 30 min
    • Protected against limited amount of dust and sand

  • I think they have a mistake in the anwers because ip57 is not a military standard, on the solid extreme page MIL-STD-810F is the mil standard.

I've left a message on twitter voicing your concern, however the MIL-STD-810F is a US military standard. European IP57 could very well be an EU military standard.

We'll see if they change the question though.

  • Im sure ip57 is the correct answer they want. It's a civilian standard though.

    I've got it now.

The MIL-STD-810 is all about testing things in a variety of different conditions.
The military standard MIL-STD-810 test series addresses a broad range of environmental conditions that include: low pressure for altitude testing; exposure to high and low temperatures plus temperature shock (both operating and in storage); rain (including wind blown and freezing rain); humidity, fungus, salt fog for rust testing; sand and dust exposure; explosive atmosphere; leakage; acceleration; shock and transport shock (i.e., triangle/sine/square wave shocks); gunfire vibration; and random vibration.

The Solid extreme is said to be completely compliant with MIL-STD-810 standards.

The civilian rating used to determine whether products can survive the above military conditions is known as the Ingress Protection rating. The Solid Extreme received a rating a rating of IP57 during its test. Which is what the answer is. :)

I'm with a great many more companies than are in my sig(PC/VO/JTA/GFK/LS/Crowdology/HarrisPoll/YG), its just those in my sig are my top earners for what i use them for. Pinecone for me are in my bottom 4 sites, as i don't get many paid surveys from them. :)

EDIT: Dollop, if you mean your interested in looking into more survey sites, then I'll send you a list of the site I've used and what I've received from them later tonight, as I'll need to take a look at what sorts of payouts I've had with the other sites. :)
