How to obtain a copy of decree absolute?

Just heard from court if I knew the case number 5.00 but as I do not know number 40.00!!!!
will have to wait till new year darn darn darn

if you know the number they dont have to do a seach so they just charge a photocopy fee.
The seach has to be done by someone physically going through the records so hence a larger fee

If i have the case number off my decree nisi, can someone else go to the courts and get a copy for me, or do i have to do it in person. please help. hoping to get married in 2 weeks.:o
