He was probably disliked on the boat thats why they kept him walking round and round changing bulbs to keep him out of their way:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I say again, how would knowing the reason why a bulb exploded help in any way. In any event there is no way anyone could know, unless there had been a succession of bulb explosions from similar bulbs. In that case it might possibly be determined that there had been a manufacturing fault in a particular batch.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
No i'd be covered in it
Are you the sort of person that will keep banging their head on a sticking door, and never look down to see it's jammed on something that prevents it closing? I assume you'd just rather keep walking into the door - because you just don't want to know
to infinity and beyondThe advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D
Don't like what I have to say? Call me on 0800 KMA;)0 -

One fairly good reason for bulbs exploding in my experience is if they are Homebase own brand
About 1 in 3-5 R50's we used to buy from there would explode when they died, that was over the space of a year or two (we had 3 fittings using 3 bulbs each, and the bulbs lasted about 3-4 weeks each).
Aldi and Morrisons bulbs were fine, they died just as fast (and a couple of times tripped the breaker when they died), but the Homebase ones had a very high chance of exploding (IIRC over a couple of years we bought about 4 packs of 3 from HB, and had 3-4 explode, and about 12 packs from other retailers without an issue).0
