I don't doubt that is the case. What I don't understand is why you can only get this product/only become aware of this product through the MoneySavingExpert website, or uSwitch (both of which being websites where 'people in the know' go to find out how to save money).
If I were Primus, I'd have this tariff on the home page, that's all I'm saying!
As for uSwitch, I'm not completely convinced it actually works. For instance, I put in my usage with my current supplier, Seeboard (EDF Energy), for my Gas and Electricity, I went through the steps until a cheaper provider, Scottish Power, was recommended. I then went through the same steps again, entering EXACTLY the same usage information but with Scottish Power as my provider, and it recommended Atlantic Electric and Gas. So who's cheaper!? Scottish Power or Atlantic Electric and Gas?
On the face of it, it seems to me that uSwitch couldn't give a toss WHO uSwitch to, as long as uSwitch through uSwitch.Fasthosts ruined my life0 -

Looks good, but what about broadband I need a BT line for it.
I take it you have to have the line rentak with the phone package.0 -
Just noticed Eclipse Internet is part of Kingston Communications, but it does not mention that you have to have their line rental or is that only applicable if you live in Hull?0

err... what happened to my extremely useful post about broadband, then?
Kingston operate outside of Hull also, for CPS phone services (and broadband, as you've discovered). Inside Hull, they have their own equipment.Fasthosts ruined my life0 -
Sorry iomexico - I don't know if you read the nice long post I left for you, must've been deemed to 'advertisey' but just for anyone who missed it the first time round:
When a broadband provider says that you need to have a "BT line" in order to use their service, what they mean is you cannot use their service if you fall into any of the following categories:
1. You are a cable customer (NTL/Telewest)
2. You pay your line rental to an LLU provider like Bulldog or TalkTalk
3. You live in Hull and pay line rental to Kingston Communications (but if you live in Hull you don't deserve broadband anyway.)
If you do not fall into any of the above categories, you can use any broadband provider of your choice and are not tied to taking out broadband from the company to which you pay your line rental to.Fasthosts ruined my life0
