Royal Doulton Platinum 5 piece dinner set - £6.99 or 2 for £10

My sets were just delivered. Very nice. The dinner plate seems a little small (I'm a 6'2" man) but that's probably a good thing as it should help me lose weight by having a smaller portion!

Ok so after getting my sets deliver and them looking lovely I went to my local store. I picked up 6 cutlery sets (5 piece) for each dinner set, 6 ceral bowls, a cake knife, a laddle and a cream and sugar set. I also manages to get a salt and pepper set but the didplay one as there was no more left and no box for that one.

Then after I paid I remebered the 15% off voucher in my pocket....durrr, the manager tried but couldnt change it do gave me a refund on some of the items to cover the amount I would have saved, which was lovely!
I then sqeezed on the bus dropping one of the bags including the unboxed salt and pepper!!! Luckily they are quite hard wearing and no damage

Just need a gravy boat now, anyone know where I can get one?

Wow! What a bargain. Many thanks for sharing this. Ordered 8 place setting for £40 plus next day delivery which arrived at 0910 this morning - everything perfect.! Just wish I was quick enough to get the matching veg dishes ...............:T

If it helps anyone as a price guide, I bought a teapot from a china matching website the other day for £19. It arrived the next day and is in A1 condition. Collecting the other bits and pieces could get a little obsessive for me. :rolleyes:
