    they had soup/cereal bowls which were £1.99 for 2,sugar bowl and creamer set which was £4.99 & a mini expresso style cup & plate(which was very cute) for £1-99 also hth

  • That was a great review Fireys but like Princess will do us for our best previous best Portmerion china botanics range.
    we dont have a robert anywhere near us so you are so lucky to get the extras...I paid on ebay 25.00 for coffee pot sugar and creamer set so that will do me.

  • I done it! I got them!! thank you so much. It is my birthday soon and mil and sil have put money together and I have now 12!
    Unfortunately no more platters or sugar bowl. Any idea where I can get some of them... cheaply?

    Wish I hadn't seen this thread - was thinking last night how chipped our dinner servie is and maybe we should pick some up in the sales...will be in Robert Dyas tomorrow drooling and probably buying!

    I always maintain MSE makes me spend more than I save!!!!

  • bought 2 more sets for spare and bought 4 cereal bowls. 1.99 a pair.

    they had royal doulton sets of cutlery in there too which looked elegant.

    I ordered 6 and really would like all the other bits to go with it. I am thinking of calling the store tomorrow and see if I can order them on the phone. Thank you OP it is a great find.

    I would love some of the extra bits and pieces including the milk and sugar - unfortunately no stores in Scotland.

    Just rang them and said there are many of us who are looking for the extra bits to go with our Royal Doulton dinner set but they said no we can't order what is not online and then i asked can i ring one of the store and will they post it to me and the answer was no.
