Boiler recommendations please

A friend of mine in South Yorks needs to get a new boiler fairly quickly to replace an 8-yr-old Keston that's just died on him.

He will also hopefully be selling the house next year.

He doesn't want a combi, so it should just a case of slotting in a new one where the old one was.

His CH engineer has suggested either a Vaillant or Remeha. Friend has never heard of the latter & wondered whether this is likely to impact on the saleability of the house once its on the market.

Any thoughts which he should go for?

Good evening: Remeha is a well-known European brand (they've recently taken over Baxi) and becoming increasingly popular with RGIs in the UK. The OH fits Vaillant, Remeha,and Viessmann products (all have stainess steel heat exchangers, 5 years P+L on the latter two) by choice not for manufacturers' incentive programmes.

But... a boiler is only as good as its installation and annual servicing.
