I bought the domain through go daddy and you get a website builder with it. they also give you over 200 tmeplates to use
you simply type wha tyou want and it converts it to html
i have 1 site at
1 of 70 million
1 of 40 million
1 of 9 million
on google
im trying to get www.rankfirstingoogle.com at 1 of 410,000,000!!!!! Just for fun! I set it up yesterday so i am hoping to do it before xmas!
Ranked first for which term exactly? A site is not ranked first at all, the specific content that matches the search query is.
None of the sites you mention will come close to 1st for my search "britney spears" or "cabbages" ...it's based on relevence to the search.

Something that might be of interest is Wix.com. You can make really high-end looking websites for just a low montly rental plan.
This is only for flash sites, but its a good low-priced model you might want to look at.
Theres tons of free website builders out there so it might be pot luck what you go with. Google page creator is a good alternative.0 -
Not free, but at £5.99 a month, I think really good value. Has shop templates - very easy to use and, most importantly for me, has stock control.
Also, you can try it free for 30 days to see if it suits your needs or not.

When you're selling your search engine optimisation services, and the most popular search engine is Google, you don't start off by describing yourself as "not a google expert", and you don't follow it up by saying "and i'm not a website professional, and i can't create a falshy (sic) website, and i can't write code". But my absolute top favourite, which you definitely don't say, is "i can't guarantee your website will be #1 in google". :rotfl:
That's not what your potential clients want to hear, even if it is true! You have to sell your services by focussing on what you can do (the positives) instead of writing a huge list of everything you can't do.
The website sucks, as it looks very amateurish, and even fails to display properly. The text is full of grammatical and spelling errors and is very badly worded.
Wipe the whole damn thing and start again!0 -
My dad managed to get #1 & #2 in google out of 74,000 and though the numbers are slightly different the same rules apply...if you spend time trying to get higher you will make it eventually as most people don't have a clue and even more cannot be bothered.
AAlso, if one sequence of metatags dont work, it may be beneficial will swap them around, different combinations have different results, even if the constituent words are exactly the same.
(Just as a quick note too, just as correct spelling is important in metatag setting, so is incorrect spelling...people type misspelt words into google all the time and if you take those into account too you will boost your business exceptionally well)"Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0 -
I have yet to see a better example of how not to describe yourself.

I would have to actually agree with all of that, particularly the spelling. If someone gets a spelling mistake once or maybe an apostrophe out of place a time or two I can accept that and may even send them a note, if they have multiple errors all over the place it shows a lack of concern especially in this day and age of spell checkers. You would think the same of a book publisher that allowed 10-15 spelling errors to get through per page and they do exist. I would simply be spending no time wondering how you would handle my business and go straight to a competitor."Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0 -

Not sure how google will feel about using their TM name in your domain!0 -
thanks for the feedback, i'll run a spell check!!!
Like i said earlier this is just for fun to show how a person with no website/code experience can rank 1 out of 400 million
i set this up in 1 hour, no spell check or anything. the idea is that i submit it to google straight away as it usually takes 1 week to get indexed.
once indexed it will be changed and edited to look a bit better
i'll run a spell check!!!i buy houses ........... any condition.0
