Internet limits on Orange iphone tariff
My O2 contract is up soon and I'd really like an iphone but so far they've only offered me the standard tariff's.
I'm a bit fed up with this lack of loyalty - I've been a customer for 7 yrs now.
So I'm thinking of going to Orange instead. But am concerned about the limits on internet usage.
However I'm not very technical and so don't know what these limits mean in reality.
I would probably mostly be using the internet for things like checking emails, facebook, that kind of thing.
So was wondering if someone could advise on how quickly I would likely use up my limit.
TIA

How longs a piece of string. . .
Depends on how often you go on line and how many sites you visit. I've seen people who've used their iPhone on O2 since the start to go on all kind of sites, use their email all the time and never run out.
The fair usage policy won't mean that once you hit the limit they cut you off right a away, only if you go way over every month...0 -
If you stick to facebook, email and browsing websites you'll stay well within Orange's 750mb limit. However the iPhone is capable of so much more and these things - which I'm sure you'll want to use - will really gobble up your allowance.
I'm talking about watching Tv programmes on Iplayer, watching live Tv on tvcatchup, you tube videos, film trailers (from orange's own app!) and Internet radio. I regularly listen to Australian radio on the bus with the effect that I've used 300mb in less than a week. It's going to be interesting to see how rigorously Orange enforce their fair usage limit because I can see myself sailing right over it...MFW Challenge: Mortgage free in 2008! ACHIEVED!

Have had my IPhone for 3 days and so far if the counter is correct have used about 360MB. At this rate I should have used around 3 GIG by the end of the month.0
