Gailey... Padding is how I am reducing the balance, I found an older post of mine from christmas time where my balance was £820, so it really is working, some days I only pay a pound, OH laughed at my bank statement the otherday as it was just full of transactions to very lol, also my balance will go up at the weekend when interest is added - booo! I also want to have mine paid off by April, Hope to pay nationwide off this month as I pay £50 a month but only have £100 left so gonna try and push myself to get it paid off :D

Anyway today we have paid £203.81 to Halifax off to make a payment to VERY now will be back shortly to update my signature xxx

moneytroubles you think mse has maybe puzzled very as so many £1/£2payments.

my mistake is not paying it off before interest added.
I got account christmas b4last as was superskint and brought some presents on it.
paid some off but then daughters 3rd birthday last feb more added.
brough new ding table and some maternity clothes on interest free with discount code seemed bargain @ time always intended to pay it off but financialy things got worse in 2009 so never happened.
Followed by hubbys birthdaywhich leads me to mess imin now!

anyway was feelingpositive few weeks back as got very down to £640 but interest added taken it up to£800bcancelling off any payments i made!

I have to get rid might pay £2later if I can min payment this month £51 but want to pay more.

Will feel so good to clear a debt in full think i will clear next directory this month as only small balance.

cleared barclays debt other month and felt fab!:D

Well done everyone.
Just £25 normal DD to A+L today.
• I know the feeling gailey, I joined VERY when it was LX direct, and since then it has been changed to littlewoods and now VERY, I didn't even know what the APR was until I had my LBM and joined this site, i was gobsmacked!

my minimum payments are around 30 pounds now, I PAD everyday and then still try and pay the minimum payment at the end of each month, i filled the snowball calculator in a couple of days ago and this months interest should be around 17 pound this month.

I know its easier said than done but i think if anyone with very can consistently PAD or over pay then its worth doing, I had time off over dec/jan from debt busting what with christmas and everything and just paid minimum payments and my balance shot back up, its so disheartening isnt it :(

Good Luck with it xxxx

Hi Guys

My running total From Jan to Feb is £3,223.17 :j:j.

Had a great Feb with overtime, a bonus, cashed in premium bonds and a couple of comp wins.:j

Hope it's okay to do the running total
