  • Been a bit lax on checking in recently so only just seen Guesty's news - it must be a wonderful feeling well done:j:j:j:j

I have finally got my figures sorted and have updated my sig paid off £2887.86 so far which is 9.63% very pleased with that because my first big payment won't be until the beginning of May but I am ticking along nicely and still on track so far :D

Some wonderful payments being made :A

Today we have paid off £174.68 from the bank loan and £6.95 from DH's Virgin card. His card is now clear !!

All other debt is now in my name or joint names so it is easier for me to manage.

Finally made more payments was feeling bad as not made any in over a week.

hubby paid- £386 to aa loan
me -paid £54.50 to loan sharks sorry i mean littlewoods/additions shocking 44%interest!

still got £40 loan to pay , £33barclaycard, £20bank charges, £8next and £30 od fees!
    hubby has £30 od fees,£160creditcards.

i unfortunatly have nearly £50 of ebay fees to poay despite not selling awful lot!
also large phonebillplus extra costs of gymnastics club for daughter, daughters birthday and some half term activity costs.

I was quite optimistic about upping our repayments this week as no council tax/water this month!

Unfortunatly bmw of doom been in garage and cost us £840 quid i could cry just wnat rid of it even for lesser car as fed up spending 1000+each year its only worth 3grand now.

Trying to be optimistic and hope we have extra £200 in march to throw at credit cards.

Given myself until april to clear additions balance now £643!
Cant tackle barcalycard until thats gone!
barclaycard is silly interst rate too was on news how can they justify 29.5%when base rates 0.5%!
I cant switch i tried so just got to live with it!

trying to stay positive and on course.
wondering if could claim bank charges under hardship as see barclays made record profits today!

been reading others progress which spurs me on.
    well done everyone.
our collective total for this challange must be huge!
I cant wait to it 3grand mark paid and actually clear some balances in full.
hubby needs to see big differences otherwise he gets disheartened and thinks its fultile!

  • OMG I totally forgot to update on the 1st, my mortgage came off and I didnt even add it to the total lol, not good! So on the 1st £635.30 came off for the big one lol it aint an overpayment but it is still reducing the debt.

I also overpaid the CC by £20 a couple days ago when I got my MS money. Should have about £250 left before payday, so will be putting half towards CC and half into the holiday fund (which isnt being counted towards this!)

    Updating sig now!!
