hi hypno thanks for the new challenge. I have decided to try to pay off all our credit card debt and also at least one of our loans. All of our current debt is to try to get a holiday cottage up and running and I still have loads to do. I really want to finish it without any more debt so the total is about £1600 to try to pay off.

    Smile loan £11000
    DH's Virgin cc £947
    My Virgin cc 2195
    Tesco CC £3396
    Smile cc 2789
Total is £20327 £4000 more than I thought so I will set my target at £20000 for this challenge. DH still has no work so I may be being very optimistic. I like a challenge!!
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    Hi Hypno06

I would love to join this challenge. I'm a long term lurker and think it's about time to stop lurking and start doing. I read last years thread with interest and am up for this one (I hope)

I would like to aim for the full £20000

    Many thanks.

The 1st of the month sees a big payment go out for me, so £458 off the capital debt gives me a nice start to the challenge :D

I will update the front page to add all the new challengers in - good luck everyone and happy debtbusting :D:D:D

well thats me started too! made a couple of extra payments so have paid out £366 reduced debt by a whole 1.96% but still some direct debits to come off later in the month, trying not to get over excited and pay too much so we're left with next to nothing later in the month, must go and update my signature oh the excitement of it!!!! ~i like the way penguin83 show the % so have highjacked that idea - thanks penguin
