I'd like to put some song lyrics in my signature.

I cant put a link to where I source them as no links are allowed. How do I get around this?

I don't think there would be a problem putting some song lyrics in your signature.

Also...

It's worth noting that the lyrics are not actually owned by the website, they're owned by the original creator.

As the lyrics are widely available for free, you could have got them anywhere and so there is no need to speicify where exactly.

I think it is to do with copying and pasting anything from anywhere, i think it is to do with copyright from any site, so if you are just typing a few lines from a song then surely thats ok

I think the important thing would be to reference the author and title. The website you copy/paste from is unlikely to hold the copyright for the song lyrics (they might try to claim copyright for their particular layout/formatting).
