yes, from the orange online shop0 -
Just found out after calling orange that due to demand it wont be delivered until tomoz, i am out tomoz morning.
Why didn't orange e-mail me to tell me, another example of poor orange customer care which was one of the reasons i left them last time i had a contract.
I dont care about saving money, in the future i will go to good companies who cost a little more but dont mess you around.
Also its at the Manchester depot, i live in Halifax so if they leave a card i can't even collect it, lets hope the distance means an afternoon delivery.0 -
it "out of stock" at orange online now.0

Thats ok, mine is in the warehouse0

Well utter peed off today. DHL were ment to be delivering it then was told the guy who does mine route was on the sick. So asked if i could pick it up and came back and said that they would get another driver out and should be with me from 3-5pm. At 5.15pm no phone so phoned them back and the driver had to come back as he had an accident or something but wont be in till 6pm as he had a few more drops left to do.
Was told ring back at 6pm and come to pick it up, rang at 6.15pm and the driver was still not back and dont know when he will be. I live about 13miles or so from the depo so not really far away. But i stayed in all day today waiting for this driver to call and just being told fibs. If he had an accident why was he still doing drops?
Gonna phone 02 and give them a good moan
Gotta rearrange delivery now to my mums work as wont be in tomorrow (next working day off is Mon) and the depo is 13miles the other way from work so cannot go after work.

Looks like it turned out bad for the both of us.
Oh well, bring on tommoro0 -
Finally recieved my n80, dosent seem faulty in any way and includes the latest v6 firmware.
IMO it is a great phone and if taken outside the pictures are excellent, the wifi works a treat even with wpa encryption, it dosen't seem too big for me but i was ready for a brick coming due to some of the comments i have read on variuos sites.
Just a shame i have to have the orange customer service with it, also if you phone the freephone orderline they can put you through to oranges mobile rate phone numbers such as registrations.
Feel free to ask questions.0 -
What signal strength you getting, compared to your old phone,in your area? as someone mentioned the signal is not as good on his n80 to his old phone
I rang vodafone today to tell them orange were offering the n80 for £50,but they first said £200 but out of stock till 27 june, then i told them thats no good, and put through to another vodafone bod,who said could only do it for £150,so asked for pac code, and he told me it will go straight in the post,so no luck there.Looks like orange now then, but would prefer 02 out of these, but they want £100....0 -
At my home i am recieving full signal strength on 3G, my old 2G phone got around 2/3 signal so for me the N80 is much better.
I live in a very good signal area though, i am going on holiday to wales in 2 weeks which is usually pretty bad so i will try to remember to tell you what its like after i come back.0 -
Tried to get one from Vodafone today as a return (V3x delivered complete pants build quality) told they cant get hold of as limited stock coming in from Nokia. Also told lots of teething problems. Ordered a Sony Ericsson P810i.
At least I can be sure it is a stable operating system, it will work without crashing and SE have got there act together to be able to supply demand ..Never trust a smiling cat0
