Couldn't resist it today. I found some extra cash so paid another op and cracked the 47k barrier. M now £46, 910 yay!

Converted 1250 points into a £10 cash voucher for xmas food spends.

Very expensive week next week as had to pay for train tickets to get to big city. DD1 has been accepted onto one of those summer camp programmes in America to teach for 9 weeks so we have to visit the embassy for her interview. I have classed this as a day out trip so costs have come out of the holiday fund and it will be packed lunch and free museum visits for the rest of the day.
Then I have a flight ticket to purchase! This will come out of savings but it has been put aside so hopefully if I stay within budget, it will be ok.

Downside today, my onion seeds have died so have to start again. :(

Potatoes, bought out of allotment money, are on the windowsill chitting. Must start tomatoes and peppers this weekend and carry on with getting the allotment ready. I now have carpet paths :rotfl:and will have some sort of cold frame come greenhouse when it is finished. All at no cost too :D

Ok, well a bit of a downer today. I was informed yesterday that my job will be going in the future but I do not have the official date as yet. It could be sometime this year but will happen by end 2016 definitely.
So, some plans will need to be made. It is a little like Deal or no deal. Do I look for another job now to move to or wait until the bitter end where there may be a small chance of redundancy but this is not guaranteed.
I really need another 9 years of employment to get rid of this mortgage, after that it won't matter what I do because I will at least have my home.
I will be thinking on this for some time now.
On a different note, the allotment is taking shape. The cold frame come greenhouse is finished, all paths and edging finished and the runner bean cage is ready and waiting.
Spent £25 on groceries last week, this is going to be the one area I will not go over from now on. Diesel put in for the month £30. I would say I will do more scrimping and saving but I can't do more than I already do at the moment so that is out!
